From all of the explanations above, it can be concluded that the texts have their own purposes as a text. Such as, the first, report text to presents information about something, as it is. So, The second, discussion text to present information and opinions about issues in more one side of an issue (‘For/Pros’ and ‘Against/Cons’). The third, spoof text to tell an event with a humorous twist and entertain the readers. The fourth, news item text to inform readers about events of the day which are considered newsworthy or important. Spoof, news item, report, discussion, and explanation
According to Sunu (September, 26th 2007), there are any kinds of text. They are : Spoof text is the text which retell an event with humorous twist. It means that the readers will get pleasure when they read this text, and usually this text can make the readers who read the text will laugh because of humour that contain in the text. Moreover, Sunu stated generic structure of spoof text, that is orientation, events, and then twist.
News item text is text used to inform readers, listeners, or viewers about events of the day which are considered newsworthy or important. News item has general structure like newsworthy events, background events and sources. So, it can be said that this text tell the readers on how important such days which is considered by the readers.
Report text is the text which has purpose to describe the way things are, with reference to a range of natural, man-made, and social phenomena in environment. Generic strusture of the text is general classification and description. It’s assumed that report text gives the readers information about something in naturally as a result of observation which related to the environment and man made.
Discussion text is text which present at least two points of views about an issue. It’s implid that the purpose of discussion text is is to poresent both side of an issue to the readers, and come to a recommendation which is a logical conclusion based on the evidence given in the text. Then, Sunu said that general structure of discussion text is the issue, arguments, and conclusion.
Explanation text is kind of text which explain the process invloved in the formation or workings of natural or sociocultural phenomena, and it has general structure like general statement, explanation/sequence of explanation, and closing. It’s mean that from this text, the readers can get explanation about something in a sequence process.

Discussion text conveys different ideas or arguments about something. The ideas or arguments may support or against the issue. The generic structure of discussion text is issue, argument for and against.
And the last is Report Text. E-dukasi.net (2012) :said that : it is a type of text (genre) in English that describes things as they are. This text has the steps of rhetoric (generic structure) that consists of: General Classification and Description. • General Classification: The general classification of what is described (Tells what the phenomenon under discussion is) • Description: describe phenomena that are described in the parts, qualities, habits and behavior (Tells what the phenomenon under discussion is like in terms of parts, qualities, habits or behavior). Social function of the text report (social function of a text report) is to explain things as they are.

Then what is the basic difference between analytical and hortatory exposition. In simple word. Analytical is the answer of "How is/will" while hortatory is the answer of "How should". Analytical exposition will be best to describe "How will student do for his examination? The point is the important thing to do. Spoof text is the text which retell an event with humorous twist. It means that the readers will get pleasure when they read this text, and usually this text can make the readers who read the text will laugh because of humour that contain in the text. Moreover, Sunu stated generic structure of spoof text, that is orientation, events, and then twist.
News item text is text used to inform readers, listeners, or viewers about events of the day which are considered newsworthy or important. News item has general structure like newsworthy events, background events and sources. So, it can be said that this text tell the readers on how important such days which is considered by the readers.
Report text is the text which has purpose to describe the way things are, with reference to a range of natural, man-made, and social phenomena in environment. Generic strusture of the text is general classification and description. It’s assumed that report text gives the readers information about something in naturally as a result of observation which related to the environment and man made.
Discussion text is text which present at least two points of views about an issue. It’s implid that the purpose of discussion text is is to poresent both side of an issue to the readers, and come to a recommendation which is a logical conclusion based on the evidence given in the text. Then, Sunu said that general structure of discussion text is the issue, arguments, and conclusion.
Explanation text is kind of text which explain the process invloved in the formation or workings of natural or sociocultural phenomena, and it has general structure like general statement, explanation/sequence of explanation, and closing. It’s mean that from this text, the readers can get explanation about something in a sequence process.

Discussion text conveys different ideas or arguments about something. The ideas or arguments may support or against the issue.
The generic structure of discussion text is issue, argument for and against.
And the last is Report Text. E-dukasi.net (2012) :said that : it is a type of text (genre) in English that describes things as they are. This text has the steps of rhetoric (generic structure) that consists of: General Classification and Description.
• General Classification: The general classification of what is described (Tells what the phenomenon under discussion is)
• Description: describe phenomena that are described in the parts, qualities, habits and behavior (Tells what the phenomenon under discussion is like in terms of parts, qualities, habits or behavior).
Social function of the text report (social function of a text report) is to explain things as they are.

1. SPOOF
According to understandingtext (2009) Spoof is a text which tells factual story, happened in the past time with unpredictable and funny ending. Its social function is to entertain and share the story.
From the definition, it can assumed that Spoof is a text that has a funny story that happened in past time and it’s given by writer just to share or entertain the readers.

2. EXPLANATION
According to Sartono (2010) Explanation text is a text which tells processes relating to forming of natural, social, scientific, and cultural phenomena.
From the definition, it can assumed that Explanation text is the text that have some explanation about something such as natural, social, scientific and cultural phenomena and it is purpose is to describe a particular person, place or thing in detail.

According to puguh (2011) News Item is a text which informs readers about events of the day. The events are considered newsworthy or important.
From the definition, it can assumed that News item is a text that give some information to the readers about the cases or events that happen today or newest information because it is very important for life.

4. DISCUSSION TEXT
According to Budi (2009) Discussion Text is a text which present a problematic discourse. This problem will be discussed from different viewpoints.
From the definition, it can assumed that Discussion text is a text that writer makes to showing to the readers about the problematic words which is will be discussed by readers to analyze about that text and takes the solve from that problem.

5. REPORT TEXT
According to Susilohadi (2008) Report text is a text that classifies or describes something in general. Reports begin with a general statement which introduces the topic.
From the definition, it can assumed that Report text is a text to describe something in general statement that introduces the topic, then inform about it to the readers.

1. Spoof Text
Reading a funny story is interesting. Surely it will make us laugh. Relating to funny story, students of high school are very familiar with the text with unpredictable ending. This an unpredictable plot in the end of the story is called twist. The text which a twist end it, then we categorize as a spoof text.

Explanation text is compose to describe how something forms and why something exists and happens. What is an explanation text and how is the explanation text composed? Explanation text is structured by the generic level of general statement and followed with sequenced explanation.

- Discussion is a text which present a problematic discourse. This problem will be discussed from different viewpoints. Discussion is commonly found in philosophical, historic, and social text. From the definition, it can be assumed that discussion text is text highlighting a problem (issue) which reviewed most of the two point of view, before arriving at conclusions or recommendations.
